A leading national law firm is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory & Enforcement Associate to join its established healthcare practice in Nashville, TN. This role offers the opportunity to advise healthcare clients on complex regulatory and operational matters while working alongside a highly experienced team of healthcare attorneys.
This position focuses on counseling healthcare providers and organizations on regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse laws, reimbursement issues, and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities
- Advise healthcare clients on day to day operational and regulatory matters
- Counsel clients on provider and facility licensing requirements
- Provide guidance on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and regulatory compliance
- Analyze and advise on issues related to the federal Stark Law and federal and state anti kickback statutes
- Assist clients with healthcare fraud and abuse compliance matters
- Support regulatory risk assessments and enforcement related matters
- Provide guidance on healthcare privacy issues and regulatory considerations in healthcare mergers and acquisitions
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of experience practicing healthcare regulatory law at a reputable law firm
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory analysis
- Experience with facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, fraud waste and abuse compliance, healthcare privacy, and regulatory aspects of healthcare transactions strongly preferred
- Strong academic credentials and exceptional legal writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and drafting ability
- Ability to manage complex regulatory matters in a collaborative environment
Additional Requirements
- Must reside in the Nashville, TN area at the time of hire
- Must be licensed or willing to become licensed to practice law in Tennessee
- Hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office
