Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Healthcare Office Administrative Assistant to support daily operations and assist the business owner. The assistant will work on a part-time, independent contractor (1099) basis. This role supports the business owner with administrative operations, client communication, and training program coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working both independently and in a dynamic healthcare education environment.
Job Description & Duties:
The Healthcare Office Administrative Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations and delivering excellent service to clients and students. Responsibilities include:
Perform general administrative support duties for the office owner, including scheduling, data entry, and document management
Conduct client follow-ups and send appointment reminders to ensure consistent communication and engagement
Assist with social media management and email marketing campaigns to promote services and training programs
Support coordination and execution of CPR and CMT (Certified Medication Technician) training classes both online and in person
Welcome new students and clients, assist with registration processes, and provide onboarding support
Help manage student enrollment, including registering students with the Board of Nursing and maintaining accurate records
Provide assistance during occasional on-site CPR training sessions
Support online classes by assisting students with access, communication, and troubleshooting basic issues
Maintain a professional, friendly, and organized office environment
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with email platforms, social media tools, and basic office software and technology
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Comfortable working in both in-person and virtual environments
Work Environment:
This position may include a mix of in-office responsibilities, support for online training programs and travel to nursing facilities for on-site CPR training. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required depending on class schedules.
Additional Information:
- Contract 1099
- Part time, 20 hours a week
- Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and equipment unless otherwise specified
