Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Position Type: Contract (3+ Months)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23–$25/hour (W2)
Position Summary
A healthcare organization in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Healthcare HR Coordinator / Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day human resources and administrative functions. This role is ideal for candidates with prior HR or administrative experience in a healthcare or medical setting who are highly organized and proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
Utilize Excel and Access to manage and maintain HR-related data
Create complex presentations using PowerPoint, including charts and graphs derived from database information
Assist with training class scheduling and coordination
Ensure proper classroom and training room setup
Develop and distribute surveys as needed
Perform general administrative duties including:
Answering phones
Ordering office supplies
Coordinating travel arrangements
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (required)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Education
High School Diploma or GED (required)
