Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environment & Security (HSES) Manager to lead site-wide programs that protect employees, assets, and the environment. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risk, and driving a strong safety and security culture across manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly visible on the plant floor, and experienced in managing both EHS and physical security programs within an industrial environment.

Get ready to take your career to new heights as a Permanent Health, Safety, Environment, and Security Manager in the fast-paced Manufacturing industry. This is a key role where you will be responsible for leading and managing the health, safety, environment, and security (HSES) initiatives across multiple sites. You will be the go-to person for all things related to industrial hygiene, occupational safety, OSHA recordkeeping, and program development. This is not just a job, but a chance to make a real impact in a dynamic, multi-plant environment, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all employees, while also contributing to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSES policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage and maintain OSHA recordkeeping and reporting systems.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSES practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in the planning and execution of safety drills and emergency response activities.
- Collaborate with management and employees to foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Monitor and analyze HSES performance metrics and implement necessary changes to improve results.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
- Proven experience in managing HSES in a multi-plant environment.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, and occupational safety practices.
- Experience in program development and delivering training programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification would be a plus.
