Healthcare Recruiter (Contract-to-Perm | Hybrid)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter for a contract-to-permanent, hybrid opportunity supporting full-cycle recruitment within a hospital environment. This role is ideal for a recruiter who can quickly ramp up, manage multiple requisitions, and deliver results in a fast-paced healthcare setting. High performers may be considered for permanent placement based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical hospital roles

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to assess urgent and ongoing staffing needs

  • Source candidates using job boards, healthcare-specific platforms, referrals, and direct outreach

  • Screen and interview candidates to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams

  • Support offer development, compensation discussions, and candidate acceptance

  • Assist with onboarding coordination, including pre-employment screenings and credentialing requirements

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and hiring standards

  • Maintain accurate and timely records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Provide regular recruiting updates, metrics, and pipeline insights to HR leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting

  • Experience recruiting clinical roles (e.g., RNs, allied health professionals, providers) strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of healthcare credentialing, licensing, and compliance processes

  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools

  • Ability to manage high-volume requisitions and shifting priorities
