About The Position

This is a builder role designed for a creative operator who thinks in systems. As the Head of Creative & Content Production, you will lead content production across the critical assembly lines of our media operation:

  • Revenue Engine: Paid performance
  • Volume Engine: Organic social

Our content ecosystem is primarily focused on short-form, performance-oriented video that blends a variety of content types, as an example: education and entertainment (edutainment)—content that provides real value while remaining highly engaging. This includes, but is not limited to, surfaces such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.

Your mandate is to design, launch, and operate an internal production infrastructure that enables every content stream—paid, organic, brand, lifecycle, and AI-assisted—to move faster and produce better work without sacrificing performance. You will partner closely with Growth to ensure creative output protects and improves acquisition efficiency while elevating brand trust.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Production Infrastructure (Primary Mandate)

  • Design and operate iRESTORE's internal production flywheel to support multiple content streams.
  • Establish clear creative inputs, feedback loops, and iteration cycles to increase speed to market.
  • Translate performance data into creative direction and production priorities to ensure all content aligns with the Product Marketing Triangle (Product, Customer, Market).
  • Champion Problem Evangelism—articulating customer pain points more clearly than they can themselves.

2. Paid & Organic Content Enablement

  • Drive high-volume testing schedules for paid ads, supporting scaling protocols that allow winning content to scale aggressively.
  • Produce high-converting formats including comparison content, studio performance ads, and whitelisting-ready creator content.
  • Enable rapid Viral Hacking on organic channels by adapting trending formats and hooks within very tight windows.
  • Identify Unicorn viral hits from organic feeds to be utilized by the paid team for performance scaling.

3. AI-First Production

  • Own the AI-first production strategy and creative workflows across the content engine.
  • Partner with and/or help stand up a dedicated AI Creative Producer to execute against these workflows.
  • Build agentic workflows using AI tools to increase output and reduce production friction.
  • Implement high-frequency iteration (e.g., Static Swarms) to generate dozens of variations per concept.
  • Integrate AI as a multiplier for ideation, scripting, storyboarding, and scalable video production without the need for constant physical shoots.
  • Drive significant operational efficiencies and cost-per-creative reductions through deep AI adoption.

4. Full-Funnel Creative Systems (Web, Email, & Product)

  • Web & CRO: Oversee creative for the homepage, PDPs, and landing pages, balancing aesthetic elevation with conversion performance.
  • Lifecycle: Build modular email template systems that allow Managers to self-serve without design bottlenecks while remaining performance-driven.
  • Brand Systems: Own and evolve visual identity, motion frameworks, and modular templates to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Initial Packaging Ownership: Initially own physical product packaging and visual hierarchy, establishing systems to be eventually delegated to a future hire.

5. Team Leadership & Hands-On Execution

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of designers and AI producers.
  • Maintain a player-coach mentality—personally concepting, scripting, and art-directing creative while building the systems for others to follow.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless handoffs between organic, paid, and influencer teams.

What Success Looks Like

  • Creative Velocity: Achieving industry-leading output levels across paid, organic, and brand surfaces.
  • Efficiency: Improving creative quality and volume without degradation in performance metrics (ROAS, CVR, CAC).
  • Operational Excellence: Strong adoption of systems and templates that allow the growth team to be less dependent on external agencies.
  • AI Integration: A production process where a significant portion of content is AI-generated or AI-edited to drive cost savings and speed.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 7+ years in creative or production roles, with at least 3 years leading teams in a high-growth DTC/ecommerce environment.
  • Proven track record of creating performance marketing content that converts—you understand the data behind why an ad works.
  • Deep video production expertise, with the ability to oversee shoots, direct talent, and ensure quality at volume.
  • AI-native mindset, comfortable with using emerging tools to automate and enhance creative workflows.
  • Pragmatic builder who prefers frameworks and flywheels over perfect briefs and long runways.
  • Health, Beauty, or CPG experience is strongly preferred.
