Job Summary
Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County is seeking a dedicated and high-character individual to serve as Head Coach for Middle School Flag Football. The ideal candidate will mentor student-athletes, teach fundamental skills, and model the school's core virtues through leadership, professionalism, and integrity.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all practices and games
Teach sport fundamentals, rules, and team strategies
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and athletic staff
Assist with equipment setup and breakdown
Complete required trainings and submit documentation
Model strong character aligned with ACA's mission and policies
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
CPR/First Aid certification required
Coaching experience preferred
Knowledge of flag football rules and strategies
Strong communication and leadership skills
Concussion training or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass a background check and work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Ability to walk and stand on athletic fields for extended periods
