Position Summary
Wagyu Room is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead our Wagyu beef tasting concept. This guest-facing role focuses on delivering a refined, omakase-style dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the guest experience, engaging directly with diners and accommodating special requests when appropriate.
- Oversee food preparation with a strong focus on quality control and consistency.
- Manage inventory and product handling.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and nutrition regulations.
- Delegate responsibilities and oversee daily operations.
- Foster a respectful, collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
- Advanced beef butchery skills with strong knowledge of Wagyu beef.
- Guest-facing experience; omakase experience a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent workspace management.
- Current knowledge of culinary techniques and trends.
