Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining or casual dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food production, and kitchen management.
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage food costs and optimize kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a diverse culinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience with international cuisines or specialized culinary techniques.
- Familiarity with modern kitchen technology and inventory management software.
- Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen setting.
- Certification in food safety management (e.g., ServSafe).
- Develop and execute seasonal and special event menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and customer expectations.
- Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service.
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and order supplies to maintain budgetary goals without compromising quality.
- Enforce rigorous sanitation and food safety standards in compliance with local health regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote professional growth and maintain high performance levels.
