We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware & Software Integration / System Test Engineer with strong experience in NI (National Instruments) platforms, manual testing, and system commissioning. The ideal candidate will work across hardware and software domains to perform integration, validation, and testing using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, PXI, and cRIO, ensuring system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware and software integration for complex systems and subsystems
- Lead and support system commissioning activities, including setup, calibration, and validation
- Execute manual and system-level testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing
- Develop and execute manual test cases and validation procedures
- Design and implement test solutions using NI LabVIEW and TestStand
- Configure and work with NI PXI / cRIO hardware platforms for testing and data acquisition
- Perform system validation using NI-based test benches and HIL setups
- Troubleshoot issues across hardware, firmware, and software layers
- Conduct root cause analysis and support defect resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (embedded, controls, design, QA)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in system integration, manual testing, and validation
- Strong experience with NI tools (LabVIEW, TestStand)
- Hands-on experience with NI hardware platforms (PXI, cRIO)
- Strong understanding of both hardware and software systems
- Experience in system commissioning and integration testing
- Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UART, SPI, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, system architecture, and software logic
- Experience with debugging tools, data logging, and test equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial automation domains
Exposure to HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing environments
Experience with automation testing frameworks
Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time control systems
