Our client, a global leader in the industrial controls industry, is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer III to join their team. As a Hardware Development Engineer III, you will be part of the Production Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, and/or optical systems. This is a contract status role to start and could develop into a direct hire conversion. The client will not consider any candidates with visa or sponsorship requirements.
Job Title: Hardware Development Engineer III
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: $48-$55/hr. plus OT, benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in development activities of products including troubleshooting of designs
 
  • Perform design for testability, test plan generation, conduct validation/compliance tests
 
  • Creation of design/product documentation.  
     
  • Tasked to improve performance, functionality, cost optimization, and test efficiency, manufacturability and quality in products delivered.
 
  • You have a passion for hardware and driving solution investigations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant field.
     
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.:

    Typically requires 5+ years relevant experience in Electronics Product Design.

    You have passion for hardware engineering and a desire for continuous improvement in applying best practices and modern technologies in hardware design and processes.
