Honey Do Handyman is Oak Harbor’s premier "Home Safety & Repair" company. We are not a typical general contractor; we specialize in small projects, professional repairs, and "Aging in Place" safety modifications for seniors (grab bars, ramps, tub conversions).
We are seeking a Skilled Craftsman who is tired of chasing bids and wants a stable, professional environment. We handle the marketing, scheduling, and billing; you focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execution: Perform a wide variety of home repairs including finish carpentry, door/window adjustments, drywall patching, fixture replacements, and safety retrofits.
Technology: Use our company app to view schedules, clock in, review work orders, and upload "Before & After" photos for every job.
Customer Service: Communicate clearly with homeowners, keep a clean workspace, and represent the company with professionalism.
Logistics: Manage company vehicle inventory, pick up materials from local suppliers, and perform site disposal/hauling (dump runs) as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in residential maintenance, carpentry, or remodeling.
Technical Skills: Proficient with hand and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot home repair issues without direct supervision.
Digital Literacy: Must be comfortable using a smartphone for daily workflow (dispatching, notes, photos).
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Must pass a background check.
Own reliable transportation to the shop site.
Possess a standard set of professional hand tools.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs (materials, ladders).
Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
Willingness to access crawlspaces and attics for inspections and repairs.

SCHEDULE:
