Handyman Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable Handyman / Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance needs at our facility. This role is ideal for someone with a broad hands-on skill set who enjoys fixing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of building and equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities

• General facility maintenance and repairs (doors, fixtures, hardware, minor carpentry)
• Basic electrical work (lighting, outlets, switches, troubleshooting)
• Preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
• Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, valves, fixtures)
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs when outside contractors are required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Handyman-type skill set with practical experience in general maintenance
• Basic electrical experience a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when needed

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience in a commercial or industrial facility
• Familiarity with HVAC, machinery, or controls (basic level)
• Prior maintenance or facilities experience
