Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a GxP Laboratory Technician (Gas Systems) to support a corporate services account in Rahway, NJ. This role is responsible for daily GxP laboratory support operations, with a focus on waste management and the full lifecycle management of gas cylinders and dewars. You will ensure the safe handling, tracking, and distribution of gases critical to research and lab operations. The position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with GxP/GMP, RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and site-specific standards. Through strong attention to detail and process discipline, you will support uninterrupted lab operations and regulatory readiness. This role requires a proactive, safety-first mindset and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

What You'll Do
- Manage gas cylinder and dewar inventory, including ordering, tracking, and maintaining par levels
- Oversee laboratory waste handling, ensuring proper segregation, labeling, and regulatory compliance
- Perform routine inspections (RCRA/DPCC) and maintain compliance documentation and calendars
- Coordinate gas deliveries, returns, and storage, ensuring accurate records and proper cylinder handling
- Conduct scheduled rounds of accumulation areas to monitor safety and compliance standards
- Respond to operational needs and emergencies to ensure uninterrupted lab and gas supply services

What You Bring
- High school diploma, GED, or associate degree with relevant experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of GxP/GMP environments and regulatory standards (OSHA, RCRA, DOT)
- Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and documentation skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting
- Self-motivated with strong customer service skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
