The Sr Product Architect(ISG) will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative solutions using Velocity 1.7 and Java 8 within the InsuranceNow platform. With a focus on Property & Casualty Insurance the candidate will leverage their extensive experience to enhance product architecture ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust product architecture solutions using Velocity 1.7 and Java 8 to meet business needs and enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of InsuranceNow platform features optimizing for efficiency and scalability.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and technical support to development teams fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design and development of new features and functionalities ensuring they meet the needs of Property & Casualty Insurance clients.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of product architecture to ensure reliability security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings and maintain competitive advantage.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities and promote best practices.
- Ensure documentation of architecture designs and technical specifications is accurate and up-to-date for future reference.
- Engage in strategic planning and decision-making processes to align product architecture with business goals and market trends.
- Contribute to the companys purpose by developing solutions that improve customer experience and drive societal impact. Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Velocity 1.7 and Java 8 with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
- Strong understanding of the InsuranceNow platform and its application within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in hybrid work environments demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements within the insurance sector.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until March 23rd 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $140- $160K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
