Position Summary
The Guest Service Representative (Front Desk Agent) serves as the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring a smooth, friendly, and efficient stay for every guest. You help set the tone for the guest experience from the moment they arrive.
Principal Responsibilities
• Provide warm, attentive check-in and check-out experiences.
• Promote IHG One Rewards and recognize loyalty members.
• Manage room assignments, reservations, modifications, and inquiries.
• Assist guests with local recommendations and hotel amenities.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
• Handle billing, payments, key control, and brand compliance.
• Communicate room status updates with housekeeping.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and apply service recovery.
Qualifications
• Prior front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and guest-service skills.
• Professional appearance and adherence to brand standards.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 25 lbs.
