Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in social media marketing, content marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading and managing a team of social media professionals.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and executing organic social media strategies for a B2B technology brand.
  • Experience marketing to a C-level or VP-level audience at large, global enterprise companies.
  • Expertise in community management and engagement on platforms such as YouTube, etc.
  • Excellent investigative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engaging content.

About the job

As the Group Product Marketing Manager of Organic Social Growth Marketing, you will be a key leader in shaping the presence of Google Ads across our social media landscape. You will be responsible for developing and executing an organic social media strategy that builds a vibrant community of engaged followers, establishes Google Ads in the digital marketing industry, and drives meaningful conversations with our audience. You will lead a team dedicated to proactive community management and be instrumental in distributing our flagship thought leadership content from Think with Google to an executive audience. You will require a creative and strategic leader with a passion for storytelling, an understanding of social media platforms, and ability to grow and engage online communities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive organic social-media strategy for Google Ads across key platforms with an eye towards expanding our presence on emerging platforms.
  • Lead a team focused on proactive community-management, fostering meaningful conversations, and engaging with our audience to build a loyal and active following.
  • Develop and implement a content distribution plan to share our Think with Google thought leadership and other marketing narratives with a executive audience, driving engagement and brand-affinity.
  • Establish a data-driven approach to track and measure the performance of our organic social-media efforts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the content, campaigns, and product marketing teams to ensure our social-media presence is aligned with broader marketing initiatives and business goals.
