Job Summary:
You will be responsible for overall Group P&L performance, accountable for Safety, Quality and Sales, while overseeing the leadership, management, and development of your team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Leads the Senior Project Managers and Project Managers within the Division.
- Oversees/coordinates the hiring/movement schedules of team members.
- Hires, trains and develops employees within current and future roles to meet both employee and company growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full P&L responsibility to lead the assigned Group.
- Maintaining and developing business relationships with clients, partners and other key stakeholders vital to the development of the Group and Division.
- Assist the managing directors in the definition and the implementation of strategy and vision of the business.
- Assist in developing the activity of the Group in order to undertake bigger projects, implement new techniques/processes and move up the contractual chain.
- Supervision of the safety, marketing, tendering and operational performances for the Group with direct and hands on support to the management teams.
- Market analysis for potential acquisitions. Identify, manage and mitigate risks related to potential new acquisitions.
- Promote, support and develop the Corporate Policies ensuring that the Group under your responsibility respects, adheres to, complies with and implements the values, process, transparency and procedures regarding:
- Quality
- Health & Safety and Environment
- Human Resources
- Technical aspects
- Cost Control
- Client Satisfaction
- The performance of the Group Manager will be assessed after year one on the following KPIs:
- EBIT
- Backlog
- Number of bid submitted / hit ratio
- Total Recordable Incident rate (TRIR)
Required Skills/Abilities:
Brayman is looking for a high calibre, charismatic individual with the following skills and track record:
- Experience in the geotechnical construction industry predominantly in North America.
- Experience with applicable product types that fall within specific Group within the Foundation Division. Foundation Division products include drilled shafts, caissons, secant/tangent piles, drop shafts, drilled piles, earth retention systems, augercast piles, retaining/sound attenuation walls, driven piles, micropiles, shotcrete, post-tensioned rock anchors, cut-off walls, foundation grouting, grout curtains etc.
- The candidate must be a "doer" and be able and prepared to lead and drive with a pragmatic and rigorous style.
- Prior experience and technical knowledge in geotechnical field would be a major plus
- Proven track record in having developed and implemented strategies for business focus, growth and profitability.
- The personality and character to support and mentor Managing Directors, adopting the right attitude and positioning to establish a relationship of trust and collaboration with each of them.
- Ability to report and monitor in compliance to the governance & management rules of the Group.
- Continuous Improvement mind-set: track record in developing markets and optimising methods of management of projects and engineering
- Ability and operational track record in solving issues and/or obstacles in regards to the organization and logistics of small and large projects.
- Personal commitment, eagerness to control and manage risks, allocation of responsibility.
- Ability to understand and interpret Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet.
- Strong commercial and contractual skills with experience of resolving complex claims issues.
Education and Experience:
- 4-year BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar is required
- Minimum 10-years' experience in Construction/Project Management
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) is a plus but is not required
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus but is not required

Safety Sensitive Position:
This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects, and in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
