Responsibilities for Groundskeeper Role:

  • Lawn maintenance includes cutting grass trimming, blowing, and general sprinkler repair.
  • Snow shoveling during winter months Perform maintenance to ensure community areas are in proper condition.
  • Build and maintain valuable resident relationships by exploring opportunities to improve the maintenance needs of the community grounds and facilities.
  • Use established procedures to identify deficiencies and take immediate action with community manager approval.
  • Remove and dispose of garbage on community grounds, in common areas, and at the entrance to maintain appearance standards.
  • Advise the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor of residents who do not properly dispose of their excess garbage or have large or bulky items that may require pickup arrangements.
  • Perform seasonal pre-maintenance service on a timely basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment and other equipment.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to efficiently perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.

This role may have physical demands, including but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
