Graveyard Cook/Cashier

The Conoco in Benton City is looking for a graveyard cook and cashier. Hours are 8:30pm-4:30am, 5 nights a week. Starting pay is $17.25/hr during training and $18.25 after training plus yearly bonus and vacation. We have a supportive team atmosphere and are looking for an individual who is reliable, positive and has a strong work ethic.

Duties include

• Cooking a variety of menu items
• Maintain hot case food
• Main cashier
• Cleaning
• Stocking
• Additional duties as assigned

Job description

This position works 3 nights in the kitchen and 2 nights working as main casher. Responsibilities include: providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store, taking and preparing customers’ orders. This includes preparation of breakfast foods for the morning. There is a nightly cleaning schedule including deep fryers, sweeping, mopping and general deep cleaning. Restock supplies as needed.

• 21 or older
• Available evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must have own vehicle
• Must obtain Food Handlers permit
• Ability to multitask effectively prioritize tasks and stay organized
• Must be able to stand for an extended period
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• A strong sense of teamwork
• The ability to think quickly on your feet
