The Christmas Light Guy Co., We are a fast-growing commercial holiday lighting and experiential design company specializing in custom lighting installations, seasonal decor, and large-scale visual displays for commercial properties, municipalities, and high-end clients.
Our team delivers creative design, photorealistic renderings, and high-impact visual solutions that help clients transform spaces and attract customers.
Responsibilities
- Create photorealistic renderings and visual mockups using client property images
- Perform advanced photo manipulation, compositing, and lighting effects in Adobe Photoshop
- Design and visualize holiday lighting displays, decor concepts, and experiential environments
- Collaborate with leadership to develop creative concepts for client presentations and proposals
- Use AI design tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to enhance design speed and output
- Build and manage a library of digital assets, textures, and reusable design elements
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (required)
- Strong portfolio showcasing renderings, photo manipulation, and environmental design work
- Experience with AI tools for design and visualization
- Solid understanding of lighting, perspective, and spatial design
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance speed and quality
- Self-motivated and proactive with strong creative problem-solving skills
- Bonus: Experience in holiday lighting, event design, or experiential marketing
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience and portfolio quality)
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week (3 days in-office)
- Location: Long Beach, CA (In-person role)
- Growth Opportunity: Potential to transition into a full-time Graphic Designer role
