Job Description:
Our Museum client is seeking a Graphic Designer to support an in-house creative team across print, digital, and environmental design projects, contributing to concept development, production work, and execution of design assets.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Provide design support to senior team members across marketing and exhibition-related projects
Execute design work across print, digital, and environmental deliverables
Assist with typography-heavy layouts including brochures, posters, catalogs, and exhibition labels
Create production-ready files and adapt existing designs for multiple formats
Work from templates for smaller projects and internal initiatives
Assist with gallery label production and typesetting using internal tools
Support design ideation through sketching and layout exploration
Prepare presentations and materials for internal review
Incorporate feedback from senior designers and art directors
Ensure projects meet deadlines and production requirements
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
2–6 years of professional graphic design experience (or equivalent)
Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, and typesetting
Experience designing materials such as brochures, books, catalogs, or posters
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of Figma
Experience preparing files for print and digital production
Strong attention to detail, especially with typography and hierarchy of information
Ability to incorporate feedback and collaborate within a design team
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with motion graphics or After Effects templates
Interest in museums, art, or cultural institutions
Experience working within brand systems
