We are seeking a detail-oriented Grants & Contracts Accountant to join a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities.
Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Manage financial tracking and reporting for federal, state, and privately funded grants and contracts
Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and allocations to ensure compliance with funding guidelines
Prepare and submit financial reports, invoices, and reimbursement requests
Support month-end and year-end close processes related to grant activity
Reconcile grant accounts and investigate variances
Ensure compliance with FQHC, HRSA, and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) requirements
Collaborate with program managers to track spending and budget utilization
Assist with audits, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation
Maintain accurate records of grant agreements, amendments, and reporting deadlines
Identify and implement process improvements related to grant accounting
Qualifications
3–6+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on grants and/or contract accounting
Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or FQHC environments preferred
Strong knowledge of grant compliance and reporting requirements (HRSA, Uniform Guidance/2 CFR Part 200)
Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and account reconciliations
Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple funding sources and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
