Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Grants and Contracts Analyst. Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned contracts or program portfolios from setup through closeout
  • Prepare and process billing, invoices, and required financial reports in a timely manner
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Ensure billings and reimbursements align with approved contract or budget amounts
  • Track revenues and expenses and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and respond to external inquiries as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to meet departmental deadlines and deliverables
  • Create and maintain Excel schedules, reports, and tracking tools
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews as required
  • Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and support for existing and new programs
  • Support budgeting activities and documentation in partnership with finance teams
  • Monitor third-party or subcontractor compliance, invoicing, and payments
  • Generate and analyze financial reports
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience working with financial data, reporting, or analysis
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
  • Experience with accounting or financial systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of billing, contracts, or grant-related processes
  • Ability to identify issues and escalate time-sensitive items appropriately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Strong time management and work ethic
  • Flexible schedule as needed during month-end or year-end close

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
