We are currently looking to hire a Global Security Program Manager to join our team embedded with our client in San Francisco! This position requires working onsite at our client's Headquarters in San Francisco, California.
*This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with hours based on position needs. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Join our team as a Global Security Program Manager, specializing in Threat Intelligence and Travel Risk Management. In this role, you will lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks from various sources, including geopolitical events, insider threats, and digital vulnerabilities. Critical responsibilities include developing and managing travel risk programs to evaluate safety conditions, coordinate travel advisories, and design emergency response protocols for employee travel. You will also work closely with senior leadership, HR, Legal, and other teams to ensure employee safety and business operations remain secure globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate, facilitate, and manage security in a corporate setting
- Establish a threat intelligence program from the beginning stages by providing intelligence community industry standardizations and best practices
- Coordinate the monitoring and analysis of potential threats across multiple sources, including online forums, social media, and other intelligence channels
- Establish investigation protocols and standard operating procedures for different types of threats
- Coordinate emergency protocols with regional security leads and monitor international developments affecting executive and employee travel
- Build and maintain a vetted network of in-country & international resources and response vendors
- Manage global travel security policies, procedures, and training awareness programs
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
- Perform other related duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in executive protection, corporate security,
- Threat/Protective Intelligence or travel risk management
- Analytical and problem-solving experience
- Proven track record of working within a global arena
- Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
- Experience in completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal
- Current California Unarmed Guard Card from BSIS
- Ability to Travel [ Domestic / International ] required (< 40% )
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience with federal, state, or local law enforcement or military service
- Experience supervising or coordinating threat intelligence, travel risk management, and executive protection teams or large-scale security operations
- Executive protection teams or large-scale security operations
- Familiarity with travel tracking software, security risk intelligence platforms, and communications tools
- Investigative or analytical experience in high-risk environments
- International work experience
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a tactful, diplomatic approach.
- Proven ability to work independently, handle sensitive information discreetly, and make critical decisions under pressure
- Advanced CPR and First Aid Training
- Ability to interact with and influence senior management
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
