We are looking for a dedicated Journeyman Carpenter & Glazier to join our team, specializing in the installation of glass and metal for our sunrooms, solariums, and pergolas. Prior experience is preferred but not required – we are committed to training motivated candidates to familiarize them with our products, processes, and hands-on installation techniques. This role offers hands-on product education and ongoing support and development, ensuring you have the tools and guidance to succeed. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work safely and efficiently, and can thrive both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply weather seals, caulking, and other materials to ensure structural integrity
  • Read and interpret blueprints and installation guidelines
  • Operate hand and power tools to secure and assemble materials
  • Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications:
  • Prior carpentry, glazing, or related installation experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and undergo hands-on training.
  • Reliable, punctual, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work with hands and fingers daily; hand tools, measuring tools, mechanical tools, computer, and tablet.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and install heavy materials.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for the entire duration of work shift.
Work Environment:
  • Majority of work will be outside in residential and commercial areas.
