  • Conduct and manage geotechnical field inspections and subsurface investigations
  • Develop geotechnical engineering reports, subsurface data evaluations, and baseline documents
  • Support large, complex programs involving tunnels, deep excavations, water delivery systems, and heavy civil construction
  • Collaborate with engineering consultants across the region

Business Development / Seller Doer Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with municipal agencies, utilities, and engineering consultants
  • Identify early project opportunities and position the firm for teaming roles
  • Participate in proposals, scoping, and go/no go decisions

  • Experience with municipal or infrastructure focused projects
  • Interest in business development as part of the everyday role
  • Strong communication and project management skills
Preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to gain it
  • Experience with tunnelling, dams/levees, deep utilities, or major water/wastewater programs
  • Existing relationships with local or regional engineering consultants
Who Succeeds Here

  • Someone collaborative and team oriented
  • A self starter who likes both technical and client facing work
Why This Role Is Attractive

  • Bonus potential - annual discretionary bonuses based on company profitability; historically substantial and consistent
  • Flexible work options: WFH when not on site
  • Growing office - the Nashville team is expanding, offering meaningful influence and career growth
  • High impact projects: opportunities to contribute to major civil works, tunnelling, and water infrastructure programs
  • Stable, profitable employer with long tenured leadership
