GeoAnalytics Project Management Resource

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and coordinate IT projects of varying complexity. This role involves working closely with internal and external teams to ensure successful project execution from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate activities of staff involved in multiple IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans using established project management standards and methodologies.
• Coordinate with business owners and analysts to define and refine project scope.
• Perform project management duties throughout the project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify improvement recommendations.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
• Adhere to established PMO standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the Commission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of expertise in project management of various projects, including integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk planning and management.
• Experience following PMO established standards and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Suite is highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules.
• Client project management experience.
• Transportation background experience.
• GeoAnalytics project management experience.
• ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.

Location and Work Environment

The work location is primarily virtual/remote, with potential onsite requirements at the Commission facilities in Middletown, PA. Middletown is a charming town in Pennsylvania known for its rich history and community spirit. It offers a blend of small-town charm and modern conveniences.

Engagement Requirements

• Candidate’s location is preferred to be within the Continental United States.
• In-person interviews or work sessions with stakeholders will be conducted at the Commission facilities in Middletown, PA.
• If based within a 3-hour commuting distance of Middletown, PA, no additional compensation for travel is allowed. The rate is inclusive of any travel costs.
• Authorized travel expenses must adhere to federal GSA guidelines.
• Remote connectivity and necessary equipment will be provided as required.
• Vendors are responsible for accurate information and correctly completed forms for onboarding.
• Compliance with the Commission IT Department's virtual working guidelines is expected.
• Resources must abide by all published IT Standards.
• Overtime requests require prior approval with justified reasons.
