The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:
General Job Duties:

- To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department's established procedures and work instructions.
Specific Job Duties:
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers for hourly and salaried positions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure timely, high-quality staffing.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting partners, job boards, community organizations, and educational institutions to support pipeline development.
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain accurate recruitment metrics, applicant tracking data, and compliance with internal hiring processes.
- Support workforce planning and contribute to long-term staffing strategies for the facility.
- Employee Relations
- Facilitate employee communication, respond to concerns, and support positive employee relations.
- Collaborate with managers to support EOS Action Plans and drive continuous improvement in engagement.
- HR Advisory & Compliance
- Assist managers in interpreting and administering HR policies and programs.
- Provide guidance on hiring, corrective actions, terminations, and other employee relations matters in a consistent and legally compliant manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, OSHA requirements, and corporate HR standards.
- Maintain regular presence on the shop floor to support employees and reinforce policy and safety expectations.
- Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Support Decostar health and safety policies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Correct unsafe behaviors and conditions and recognize positive safety performance.
- Coordinate HS responsibilities when serving in a dual HR/HS support role.
- Attendance & Claims Management
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS16949 requirements, EMS standards, and all company guidelines.
- Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR Manager, AGM, or GM.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 3-8 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in full-cycle recruiting and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong organizational ability.
