Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Superintendent to join our growing team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial construction, with proven experience in multi-trade coordination and supervisory roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day on-site operations for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of multiple areas of field labor.
  • Ensure that all construction activities align with project plans and specifications.
  • Implement and enforce OSHA safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects on project planning and execution.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or disputes, ensuring minimal impact on project timeline and quality.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to standards.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and forecasts.
  • Mentor and guide site personnel, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically commercial/industrial electrical projects.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
  • Proven ability to read and execute from blueprints, one-lines, and construction documents .
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Experience with multi-trade coordination and management.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Plangrid, or similar software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Valid driver's license is a must
