General Manager

Job Title: Aerospace General Manager
Location: Torrance, CA
Work Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm
Salary Range: $120-150k/yr. depending on experience

An established aerospace manufacturing facility in Torrance, CA, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations across Distribution, Repair, and Technical Services. This critical leadership role will focus on delivering outstanding service to global aerospace clients, ensuring operational excellence, and driving customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic direction for the facility, aligning with business goals and objectives.

• Lead the delivery of exceptional service across Distribution, Repair, and Technical Services, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

• Manage operations to meet key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and performance targets.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to proactively address customer needs and identify opportunities for growth within the aerospace sector.

• Oversee staffing, budget management, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Aerospace industry experience is a must.

• High school diploma (or equivalent); advanced qualifications a plus.

• ERP/SAP experience and familiarity with business accounting principles.

• Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience in team development.

• Strong understanding of customer requirements in the aerospace sector, with a proven ability to build lasting relationships.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
