Our continued growth has opened opportunities for exceptional leaders who understand how to align people, process, and performance to scale consistent, profitable operations.

We're seeking a hands-on General Manager who thrives on structure, accountability, and continuous improvement. You'll take full ownership of shop-level performance, drive measurable results across multiple KPIs, and lead a team culture built on trust, clarity, and execution.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Leadership

  • Drive execution of daily operations, workflow efficiency, and shop productivity.

  • Manage scheduling, bay capacity, and repair flow using proven processes and data-based decisions.

  • Ensure safety, organization, and compliance standards are met without exception.

  • Identify process gaps and implement solutions that improve profitability and performance consistency.

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians into a cohesive, high-performing unit.

  • Set clear expectations and monitor KPI performance through structured reviews.

  • Recruit, onboard, and grow team members aligned with company values and operational standards.

  • Proactively manage accountability-rewarding excellence and addressing underperformance directly.

Customer Experience

  • Maintain execution standards that deliver consistent, trust-based customer experiences.

  • Support advisors in communication, estimating accuracy, and follow-through that drive high conversion and retention.

  • Resolve escalated issues professionally, protecting both customer loyalty and the brand reputation.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Own shop-level financial results, including revenue, ARO, gross profit, and labor efficiency.

  • Use performance metrics and shop reporting to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities.

  • Train and coach team members to increase sales effectiveness and operational throughput.

  • Align daily activity with monthly and quarterly targets.

Sales Execution & Process Enforcement

  • Support front-line sales through estimator oversight and pricing strategy.

  • Ensure technical accuracy, parts utilization, and repair quality meet company and manufacturer standards.

  • Maintain operational integrity that reinforces the ER Autocare promise: honest, quality-driven, fast service.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years leadership experience in automotive service or retail operations. Automotive experience is not required!

  • Proven record managing KPIs, improving profit margins, and developing strong teams.

  • Deep understanding of automotive repair workflow, estimating, and customer lifecycle management.

  • Skilled in structured leadership-goal setting, accountability systems, and problem-solving through data.

  • Confident communicator capable of managing multi-role teams and complex operations.

  • Valid driver's license and clean record required.

If you thrive in environments where precision, results, and leadership systems define success, ER Autocare offers the platform-and the team-to help you maximize your impact.
