General Manager

Butchertown Hall – Germantown, Nashville, TN

Butchertown Hall is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead daily operations, support our team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the restaurant including service standards, staff leadership, financial performance, and operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-energy environment and is passionate about food, beverage, and team development.

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: Germantown – Nashville, TN

Starting Salary: $65,000 annually + performance-based bonus structure

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations including front-of-house service, staffing, and guest experience
• Lead, mentor, and develop management and hourly team members
• Ensure service standards and hospitality expectations are consistently met
• Manage labor scheduling and maintain labor cost targets
• Monitor food, beverage, and operational costs to achieve financial goals
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally
• Collaborate with ownership and leadership on operational improvements and business strategy
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of staff
• Maintain a positive, team-focused culture

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience (General Manager or Assistant General Manager preferred)
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of restaurant financials including labor and cost control
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Passion for guest service and hospitality
