JOB SUMMARY: The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and close processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with accounting standards while assisting in financial analysis, reporting, and operational finance activities. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare and post journal entries Support month-end and year-end close processes Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze discrepancies Assist with financial reporting and audits Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies Support budgeting, reporting, and operations finance (inventory, capex, costs) Collaborate with internal teams and maintain accurate financial documentation Required Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 2–5 years of accounting experience Knowledge of GAAP and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Strong Excel skills with analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and audits Education: Associate's Degree
