General Accountant- Part-Time (remote)

Position: Experienced Lead Accountant – remote

This role offers significant growth potential and a flexible schedule. Compensation is based on experience. We’re looking for someone with strong soft skills, technical expertise, and a passion for both accounting and client service.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-specific bookkeeping and accounting services using QuickBooks Online (QBO), including:
  • Monthly account reconciliation
  • Accounts receivable and payable processing
  • Payroll functions
  • Generating reports (monthly, year-end, and ad hoc)
  • Supporting special projects
• Ensure timely resolution and communication of client requests
• Manage and assist current bookkeeping staff
• Operate in a self-directed or leadership capacity

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with A/R, A/P, and payroll
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Minimum Associate’s Degree in Accounting
• Comfortable with technology and learning new software
• Ability to work virtually/remotely
• No tax season work required
