General Accountant

A well-established Cleveland area residential management and real estate development company is looking for an energetic degreed accountant. Some experience preferred, but we'll train a solid entry level candidate.

Job functions include but not limited to:

• Analyze monthly financials and cash flows for multiple properties
• Prepare bank and GL reconciliations
• Maintain a Fixed Asset system for multiple properties
• Perform procedural audits for multiple properties
• File state and local taxes
• Perform various year end processes
• Bank reporting
• Analyze mortgage and escrow statements
• Other special projects as assigned

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Comprehensive understanding of general accounting principles
• Advance proficiency in Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to work independently

Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience with Real Page and Sage 300 Timberline software is preferred
• Experience with Fixed Asset system is preferred
