Garage Manager

Preferred Parking is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Garage Manager to oversee daily operations at one of our parking facilities in the Charlotte area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in operational excellence and great customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the parking garage

• Supervise, schedule, and train parking attendants and staff

• Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve on-site issues promptly

• Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality

• Handle cash control, revenue reporting, and basic administrative tasks

• Enforce parking policies and company procedures

• Coordinate with regional management on operational needs and reporting

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parking operations, facilities management, or a supervisory role preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage staff schedules and performance

• Comfortable with cash handling, reporting, and basic computer systems

• Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including some evenings/weekends as needed)

• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:

Minimum Associates or advanced degree with 2-3 years of garage management experience.
