Position Overview
Fund Operations Associates support fund managers, portfolio teams, and investor relations by overseeing day-to-day fund operations, capital movements, and reporting processes. The role blends financial administration, operational oversight, and performance tracking in a fast-paced investment environment.
This position works closely with portfolio managers, fund accountants, and investor relations teams to ensure smooth fund operations and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and reconcile fund transactions, capital calls, and distributions
Support fund accounting and portfolio administration processes
Maintain accurate records of investor commitments, allocations, and balances
Assist in the preparation of investor reports, fund statements, and regulatory filings
Collaborate with fund managers and portfolio teams on performance and risk reporting
Build and maintain operational dashboards, tracking tools, and reporting templates
Identify and resolve discrepancies, operational inefficiencies, and process improvements
Assist with audits, compliance, and fund governance activities as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong understanding of fund operations, capital structures, and investor reporting
Experience or coursework in fund accounting, private capital, or financial operations preferred
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or fund administration platforms a plus
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments
Clear written and verbal communication skills
