Position Overview

Fund Marketing Associates support fundraising and investor relations teams by preparing marketing materials, managing investor communications, and assisting with campaign and fundraising strategy. The role combines content development, design, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

These professionals work closely with investment teams, investor relations, compliance, and external marketing partners to ensure consistent, accurate, and compelling messaging for existing and prospective investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including pitch decks, fact sheets, quarterly and annual reports, and private placement memoranda (PPMs)

• Support the preparation and distribution of investor communications and updates

• Maintain and update CRM systems with investor interactions, pipeline tracking, and engagement metrics

• Collaborate with investment and IR teams to produce accurate and clear messaging on fund performance, portfolio updates, and strategy

• Help coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and other fundraising events

• Track fundraising progress and generate reporting on capital commitments, investor interest, and marketing campaigns

• Partner with compliance to ensure all marketing materials meet regulatory requirements

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting formats, templates, and investor communications workflows

• Conduct market research to support fundraising initiatives and identify new investor prospects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field

• Familiarity with private markets or asset management fundraising and investor communications

• Strong understanding of investment performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, TVPI, AUM, TWR)

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus

• Excellent writing, editing, and design skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder requests simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Interest in investor relations, capital raising, and marketing strategy
