Full Time Private Household Chef - Scottsdale, AZ - Travel Required

A private family is seeking an experienced, calm, and health-focused Private Household Chef to support their primary residence in Scottsdale, Arizona, with seasonal and periodic travel to Montecito, CA.The client would love to see some photos of your beautifully presented dishes, if you don't mind sharing.

This is a long-term, full-time role ideal for a chef who values simplicity, pristine sourcing, and a low-ego, professional household environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner (lunch and dinner are the priority)
• Daily prep of fresh components: grains, vegetables, proteins, dressings, etc.
• Maintain a well-stocked refrigerator for self-serve, healthy meals
• Prepare and occasionally deliver meals to Principals office
• Support private dinners and small gatherings
• Maintain a pristine, highly organized kitchen
• Provide light household support as needed (errands)
• Coordinate seamlessly with existing household staff. House Manager (CA-based) and Housekeeper (AZ-based, part-time)

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a private household chef or in a comparable residential setting
• Demonstrated mastery of high-end ingredient sourcing, including established relationships with organic farms, specialty purveyors, and farmers' markets
• Strong understanding of clean, health-focused cooking, with the ability to execute simple, refined meals using pristine ingredients
• Comfortable working independently and autonomously in private homes, anticipating needs without constant direction
• Exceptional organizational skills, including kitchen systems, inventory management, and advance preparation
• Discreet, professional, and accustomed to maintaining confidentiality in a private household environment
• Experience supporting principals beyond cooking (errands, coordination, light household assistance) strongly preferred
• Flexible and adaptable to travel, changing schedules, and seasonal residences
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with house managers and household staff

Schedule & Compensation

• $130,000$175,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
• 5 days per week (MF or TSat)
• Occasional weekends and travel stretches required
• Apartment provided in Arizona; hotel or apartment provided during travel
