Job Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed

• Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately

• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment

Education and Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility)

• CPR certification required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
