Job Title: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Job Summary

Client is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to maintain and create all Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) per AWS standards in a manufacturing environment supporting military and defense contracts. This is a hands-on leadership role that works closely with teams to inspect weld quality, validate new designs, and support weld fixture development.

Key Responsibilities

·       Maintain and create all Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)

·       Inspect weld quality to ensure AWS compliance

·       Prove out new weld designs and support weld fixture creation

·       Develop and maintain Welding Procedures (WPS)

·       Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment

·       Demonstrate strong attention to detail

·       Build and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members

·       Follow all department safety standards

·       Maintain 5S workplace standards

·       Comply with company policies, conduct, and attendance requirements

Physical Demands

·       Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move around the facility

·       Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule

First Shift:

·       Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

·       Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
