Job Description: Full Time CNA Second Shift

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As a Full Time CNA on Second Shift, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to the patients in our Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs and assist with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly patient environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification in the state of Iowa.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and situations.

Schedule:

This is a Full Time position on Second Shift, with hours to be determined.
