Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Contract)
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite in the Lansing, MI area
Contract Length: Full-time contract with an initial term of at least 12 months
An organization in the public sector is undertaking a major modernization initiative to replace several legacy applications currently running on outdated technologies. These systems support regulatory operations, compliance tracking, and secure data management for specialized internal programs.
The goal of this project is to redevelop these applications using modern, supported technologies to reduce operational risk, improve system reliability, and ensure long-term supportability of critical business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks and development practices.
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UX designers, DevOps engineers, QA testers, and business stakeholders.
· Follow clean coding practices, maintain strong architecture standards, and ensure code quality.
· Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and CI/CD deployment activities.
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience developing full-stack applications.
· 5+ years of experience with .NET / C#, including API and backend development.
· 5+ years of experience working with SQL Server and relational databases.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience building front-end applications using React.
