Position Summary
The Busser/Food Runner supports the Food & Beverage team by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This role assists servers and bartenders in delivering prompt, attentive, and courteous service to guests while maintaining outlet cleanliness and service standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Clear, clean, and reset tables in accordance with established service standards to ensure quick table turnover and an exceptional guest experience.
Greet guests warmly and deliver water promptly upon seating; assist servers with refilling beverages as needed. (Alcohol service permitted only if TABC certified.)
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service areas, including floors, tables, chairs, walls, windows, and workstations.
Separate and transport dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to designated dishwashing areas.
Complete assigned side work such as brewing coffee, polishing glassware, folding napkins, and restocking service stations with necessary supplies.
Assist with room service operations when needed.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, ensuring satisfaction through follow-up and attentive service.
Maintain a polished and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and food handling guidelines.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong communication and guest service skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–40 lbs during shifts.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
