What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in the insurance industry, such as within an agency or insurance carrier
- License: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in your resident state is REQUIRED
NOTE: If your resident license is in GA, TX, FL, or NY, please ensure you hold a General Lines license. The equivalent of a Customer Service or Personal Lines license is insufficient.
Skills:
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus (Salesforce preferred)
Character:
- Professional, courteous, and kind under pressure
- Committed to accuracy and integrity when handling sensitive client data
- Passionate about customer service and eager to learn
What You Will Do
- Handle inbound calls with professionalism and care, resolving most service requests live, including policy changes, cancellations, and proof of insurance submissions.
- Process payments and accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM.
- Live-transfer claims calls and sales opportunities to the proper team members.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the agency’s local time zone
Steady, daytime hours with the flexibility of working fully remote from your home
Available to applicants within the contiguous 48 states, DC, Alaska, or Hawaii
