Title: Front Office Trading Support Analyst (OMS / Python)
Locations: Chicago, IL - Onsite
Duration: 6 Months
Salary Range: $50 - $55/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits)
Applicants must be willing to work on W2.
Role Descriptions:
- The role is based in Chicago and requires working on the trading floor at the Chicago office for a minimum of four days per week.
- Provide functional expertise in brokerage with OMS-based trading support environments.
- Monitor the full trade lifecycle| ensuring accurate processing from execution through settlement.
- Perform daily trade reconciliations across internal systems| clearing firms| and custodians| resolving breaks and settlement issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for front-office traders| clients| and internal partners to resolve production issues and inquiries.
- Identify operational risks| conduct root cause analysis| and implement process improvements.
- Produce and validate daily and weekly management reports and trading metrics.
- Participate in system testing and support the implementation of technology enhancements.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a front office or trading support role within a financial institution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills| with the ability to interact confidently with traders and clients.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments| including equities| fixed income| and derivatives.
- High attention to detail when managing high volume transactions under tight deadlines.
- Must Have overall Experience is 6 to 8 years.
- Must Have 4 to 7 years of Experience in Python.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019.
- Order Management Systems (OMS) & Trade Order Routing / Execution
- Trade Finance.
