Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
As a Front Office Assistant, you’ll support daily ambulatory/physician office operations, including:
- Greet and assist patients and families in a professional, courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments following practice protocols and patient preferences
- Obtain accurate patient demographics and insurance information
- Manage phone coverage and route calls appropriately
- Assist with referrals, pre‑certifications, and authorizations as needed
- Process medical record requests in compliance with policy and regulations
- Utilize office systems, technology, and equipment efficiently
- Support patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical front office, clerical, or customer service role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume patient environment
- Comfortable using office technology and electronic systems
- Dependable, punctual, and patient‑centered
