Job Summary
The Front End Engineering Support (Sr. COE) professional works as part of the Center of Excellence team to drive results across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. This role provides professional engineering services with minimal direction, supporting manufacturing, sales, and product marketing while serving as a key technical liaison for customers. The position plays a critical role in switchgear assembly, engineering design, and front-end project execution.

Key Responsibilities
The Front End Engineering Support role promotes teamwork, trains employees, and provides proactive solutions to production needs. Responsibilities include interpreting customer drawings and specifications, designing circuits to meet application requirements, and creating engineering documentation for drafting, procurement, and manufacturing.
This role serves as the primary technical contact for customers, participating in drawing approvals, inspections, and witness tests. The engineer reviews and analyzes product configurations, performs engineering calculations, and supports drafting, purchasing, and manufacturing teams. Additional duties include project management of orders to meet OTP objectives, reduce cycle times, manage changes, and assist with product warranty resolution.
The role supports product marketing, manufacturing, and sales objectives, participates in product design and improvement initiatives, champions safety and quality improvements, and complies with all company safety, quality, and ethics policies.

Education & Experience
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years of design/manufacturing experience in switchgear assembly
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of design/manufacturing experience in switchgear assembly
