Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Front End Developer. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join a collaborative web development team supporting modern, large-scale e-commerce applications. This is an urgent hire for a permanent role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with designers, backend developers, and QA partners. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain modern front-end web applications using Angular and TypeScript
  • Build responsive, high-quality user interfaces using HTML and CSS
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs
  • Support the development and maintenance of new e-commerce websites
  • Participate in cross-browser and cross-device testing
  • Collaborate with other developers during basic QA and cross-testing efforts
  • Contribute to technical discussions and provide feedback on UI/UX implementation
  • Write clear, concise technical documentation as needed
  • Work closely with the technical lead and broader development team in an open, collaborative environment

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with Angular (v2 or higher); Current environment uses Angular 17, with an upgrade planned mid-year
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals
  • Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs
  • Familiarity with Git for version control
  • Comfortable working with modern development tools and IDEs
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with Azure (deployment or cloud services)
  • Exposure to SAP Commerce or other enterprise e-commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with .NET (helpful for legacy site migration)
  • Experience with ADA-compliant websites
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Vue.js
  • Experience using Figma for design collaboration
  • Familiarity with Postman (API awareness, not primary testing responsibility)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while staying highly collaborative
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to ask questions and share ideas
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an open, team-oriented environment
  • Values collaboration over siloed work

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
